What the Hell was up with LJ? I mean, I read the article on the news page and all, but for awhile, I couldn't get anything to pull up.
*SQUEE* My I-pod should be in today! I went with the black, 30GB. I'm so excited. I've already downloaded several episodes of Muggle Cast. So far, I've been really pleased and throughly entertained.
Um... let's see. I have a few ideas sketched out for some fanfiction. That's always a plus. Still am no where near getting the 100 quills claim I made done, and that was over a year ago. *shrugs* I'll get around to it eventually.

So, I work at the Kentucky Library and Museum on campus and part of my job is to keep the humidity in the museum storage areas between 45% and 55% with an ideal temperature of 72. It's not hard, but it's so damn crappy where they have these humidifiers and dehumidifiers at.
1st floor:
Antique toy room, behind three locked doors
Civil War room, behind two locked doors
3rd floor:
Victorian clothes storage area, behind four locked doors
Misc. storage area, behind two locked doors
so all and all it takes a while to do this humidity and temperature checking thing, but that's not the bad part. It's the fact that it's just generally creepy to be around really old, dark, musty things in a locked room with all these portraits and stuff looking at you in a dark room where even if you did scream, no one would hear you and they certainly wouldn't be able to get to you.
GAH! I wonder if I get a pay raise if I meet a ghost? lol.
On a side note, I think my computer has a trojan virus. I have this little icon on my icon tray that keeps directing me to spycrush.
Stupid virus!

So, for my summer job (and job during the school year) I work at the Kentucky Library and Museum. However, I really work strictly for the museum. I'm supposed to give tours through the museum, help clean the exhibits, do security type stuff. Ya know, BORING stuff. I've officially worked here a week and have I done boring stuff yet? Well... a little bit.
